Boat Day with Delfin Bahamas
Swim with turtles, snorkel and island hopping!

Unforgettable Adventures with Del Fin Bahamas: Sun, Sand, and Sea
There's no better way to experience sun, sand, and sea than a day with your besties, a cooler loaded with rum, and a boat that can zip you away from funky Nassau. Thanks to Del Fin Bahamas, we were able to do just that. We boarded a 32ft Grady White boat at Margaritaville over Paradise Island and embarked on an adventure to swim with sea turtles, snorkel, and island hop.
The Boat Ride
Fasten your seat belts and hold on tight because this is one heck of a ride! The speedboat jetted across the water so fast we couldn't keep our hats or shades on—so much for profiling! The cool sea water splashed on us, and the boat bounced as we hit the waves. If you love a good thrill, you’ll definitely enjoy this part of the trip. On the other hand, if you don’t have sea legs, you may not enjoy this part as much. But don’t worry, the full ride isn’t all high speed; there are plenty of moments where we enjoyed the day in cruise mode as well.
Swimming with Turtles...Or Maybe Nah
After about a 15-20 minute ride, we arrived at a site famous for sea turtles. We spotted a few, but they were long gone by the time we got close. If you're not a great swimmer, no worries—Captain Higgs and his crew offered great support to our not-so-experienced swimmers and made it an enjoyable experience for everyone. If you're an avid snorkeler, we recommend you bring your own fins, as only goggles and life vests are provided. After a while in the water, the alarm for "shot o' clock" sounded, so we boarded the boat to take shots before heading to the next spot.
On to Footprints
Inches from the shore lies Footprints, a colorful and well-known restaurant and bar often frequented by tourists. The spot features beach volleyball, billiards, and a small food menu. The prices were reasonable, and most of the food was just okay. We do, however, recommend the spicy wings and pulled pork burger, which were really good. One important thing to note is that Footprints charges a $10 entrance fee, so be sure to factor that into your budget for the day. Prices for beers and cocktails were also reasonable and fueled no good behavior and total disorder on the dance floor.
Final Stop: Antiki Floating Bar
After leaving our unforgettable mark at Footprints, we raised anchor and headed to the Floating Bar. Tucked in the back of Potter’s Cay lies the “floating bar” where visitors know how to have a good time! The bar offers basic cocktails, is a great hub to meet other travelers, but most importantly has delicious tropical conch salad served in a pineapple. This was the true star! After about an hour, we said farewell to the friends we made and headed back to port.
Our day with Del Fin Bahamas was epic and unforgettable. We definitely recommend you book them for your boat day, whether it’s a regular day or a special occasion.
